Eerste Italiaanse vertaling van Sacrobosco’s ‘de Sphaera Mundi’ met commentaren voorzien maar waarin ook navigatiemethoden en declinatietabellen worden beschreven, alsook het Zuiderkruis als een manier om naar de Zuidpool te wijzen! Misschien was dit één van de eerste keren dat deze sterren als een apart sterrenbeeld werden beschreven.
