The maps depict detailed sections of the Mediterranean coast and some of the larger towns, including Alexandretta, Alexandria, Algiers, Alicante, Dardanelles, Gibraltar, La Valetta, Livorno, Malaga, Messina, Maó, Palermo, Sète, Tripoli and Venice.
