A wooden quadrant, probably intended more for land surveying than for use at sea. Two sight vanes on the left; the plumb line is missing.

Wooden quadrant, on the lower side there is a brass circle graduated twice from 0 to 90°, divided every 10 degrees and subdivided into degrees. At the top a small brass support for a ring or weight is screwed on. Weight is missing. One side has two sighting pin holes
