Description

Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) came from a Danish noble family and was one of the most important astronomers. Although he worked without a telescope, he was able to capture incredible astronomical observations with care and accuracy. His exact measurement and constant checking of his own work is the basis of today's working methodology of modern astronomy. "Astronomiae Instauratae Mechanica" is just one of the astronomer's many scientific works and was first published in 1598.
